According to statistics of the General Department of Customs, the total import-export turnover between Vietnam and Japan in November 2020 is more than 3.6 billion USD.

In the 11 months of 2020, the total two-way turnover between Vietnam and Japan is over 35.9 billion USD.

In which, Vietnam’s exports are nearly 17.5 billion USD and import is 18.4 billion USD.

The 6 main groups of our country’s exports to Japan, with a turnover of over 100 million USD, are: textiles and garments; means of transport and spare parts; other machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts; seafood; wood and wood products; phones and accessories.

Ore and other minerals are the export items with the strongest growth in turnover compared to October, in particular, an increase of 477%.

In the top 10 items that Vietnam exported the most to Japan in the first 11 months of the year, there were 5 groups of goods with a turnover of over 1 billion USD. Textile and garment products achieved the largest export turnover of nearly 3.2 billion USD.

Auto parts and accessories are the imported items with the highest turnover growth rate, up 1515% over the previous month.

The main groups of imported goods with growth in turnover such as machinery, equipment, tools and other spare parts increased by 1%; scrap iron and steel increasing 12%; plastics raw materials increased by 13%…

The top 10 items that Vietnam imports the most from Japan in 11 months have two groups of goods with a turnover of over 4 billion USD: computers, electronic products and components with nearly 5 billion USD; other machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts 4 billion USD.
